Introduction
Fariba Sabet-Sharghi is a Canadian trained Dietitian with over 20 years of international experience in various areas of adaptive nutrition, food security and health and well-being education. She is a dedicated nutrition educator, a passionate life-style management counsellor and life coach. She specializes in therapeutic management of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, digestive problems, food allergies and eating disorders, etc. She is particularly interested in women's special requirement at various stages of life cycles from puberty to pregnancy, child rearing, menopause and beyond. She has combined her various learning and unique experiences to create a highly effective life-style modification program called “Mindful Eating” that encompasses one’s attitude towards and practices regarding eating, drinking, sleeping and daily activities and exercising. She is committed to empowerment of her patients not only in regards to nutrition and diet but also towards a holistic individually-tailored approach to wellness and mindfulness. She offers individual as well as group counselling and education sessions.
