Ophthalmologist

Dr. Amy Yang is a Master of Medicine and an Associate Chief Physician with nearly 30 years of experience in clinical ophthalmology. Her clinical expertise includes common and frequently occurring eye diseases and refractive errors, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, cataracts, glaucoma, and fundus diseases. She specializes particularly in the prevention and intervention of refractive errors, notably in pediatric myopia. Dr. Yang has mastered the diagnosis and treatment of ocular trauma and various fundus lesions, including physical and chemical eye injuries, meibomian gland diseases, and the removal of corneal and conjunctival foreign bodies. She is also experienced in treating complex eye conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinal disease, and central serous chorioretinopathy.

Dr. Hyewon Moon graduated from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, with both bachelor's and master's degrees. Dr. Moon has been engaged in clinical ophthalmological work for nearly ten years in Eye and ENT Hospital of Fudan University, Lanhai Medical Center and Wellem Medical Group in Shanghai.

She possesses expert knowledge in the screening, diagnosis, and management of chronic diseases such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusion. Additionally, Dr. Xiao is skilled in medical optometry for both children and adults, addressing conditions like myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. She offers guidance and treatment options for controlling childhood myopia, including low-concentration atropine eye drops, defocus lenses, and orthokeratology lenses. She is also proficient in laser treatments for various eye conditions, including posterior capsular opacification, glaucoma, retinal tears, retinal vein occlusion, and diabetic retinopathy. In outpatient ophthalmic surgery, Dr. Xiao is skilled in performing procedures such as intravitreal injections, stye removal, meibomian cyst excision, and pterygium surgery. Dr. Peng Zhou is an Ophthalmologist with over 20 years working experience in comprehensive ophthalmology in top hospitals. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, optometry examination, and external eye surgery. He also has extensive experience in the treatment of myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), lazy eye, glaucoma, cataract, uveitis, retinal tear, diabetic retinal disorders, macular degeneration, eyelid bump and conjunctivitis (pink eye). Dr. Peng obtained his MD in Ophthalmology from Peking University in Beijing (China). He is Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Retina-Vitreous at the Doheny Eye Institute, University of South California in Los Angeles (USA). He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). He is a committee member of the Chinese Ophthalmology Society. He published numerous articles in Nature Communications and other top international peer-reviewed journals.
