Introduction

Dr. Amy Yang is a Master of Medicine and an Associate Chief Physician with nearly 30 years of experience in clinical ophthalmology. Her clinical expertise includes common and frequently occurring eye diseases and refractive errors, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, cataracts, glaucoma, and fundus diseases. She specializes particularly in the prevention and intervention of refractive errors, notably in pediatric myopia. Dr. Yang has mastered the diagnosis and treatment of ocular trauma and various fundus lesions, including physical and chemical eye injuries, meibomian gland diseases, and the removal of corneal and conjunctival foreign bodies. She is also experienced in treating complex eye conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinal disease, and central serous chorioretinopathy.

Dr. Zhaoxia Li has nearly 20 years of clinical experience in ophthalmology. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex ocular conditions, including myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, dry eye syndrome, cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal diseases, and is proficient in common external ocular and ocular surface surgical procedures. In addition, Dr. Li is experienced in corneal refractive surgery, the diagnosis and management of pediatric strabismus and amblyopia, as well as binocular vision assessments and training. Her expertise particularly lies in the comprehensive management and prevention of refractive errors among adolescents, and she is highly skilled in orthokeratology lens fitting.

Dr. Li graduated from the Anglo-Medical Class of Shandong Medical University with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine and later pursued a master's degree in ophthalmology at the Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences. She has worked in ophthalmology at a tertiary public hospital in Shanghai for 20 years and has also held important positions at several high-end private hospitals in Shanghai. Dr. Li has published a dozen of papers in core journals and is a member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association
