Introduction
Rachel Lorch is a U.S.- certified Hand Therapist (CHT) trained in the field of Occupational Therapy, with over 20 years of working experience. She specializes in both the diagnosis and treatment through orthopedic rehabilitation of upper extremity injuries. Common conditions treated of the shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand are: post-fractures, tendonitis, sprains/strains, pain from past injuries or arthritis. Her treatment techniques include custom splinting, wound care, use of modalities, exercise, and manual therapy. Rachel obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University of California (USA). In addition to working for the largest orthopedic group in the Southeast United States - OrthoCarolina - for over 12 years, she also worked for Piedmont Orthopedics and Carolina’s Physical Therapy Network in Charlotte, North Carolina prior to her relocation to China.
