Introduction

Dr. Jessica Zhu is an experienced gynecologist with 33 years of clinical experience. Dr. Zhu specializes in the diagnosis and the treatment of cervical diseases, menstrual disorders, perimenopausal syndrome, refractory genital tract inflammation, etc. She is skilled at gynecological procedures and minimally invasive surgeries (colposcopy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, LEEP). Dr. Zhu graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and completed Master’s Program at Tongji University School of Medicine (China). She underwent further study at Stanford Hospital, Stanford University (U.S.A) and Renji Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (China). In addition, Dr. Zhu worked two years in Morocco, where she was sent by the Chinese government to provide medical support for the local hospital.

Dr. Xishi Liu has dedicated many years to the clinical diagnosis and treatment, as well as both clinical and basic research of cervical cancer and endometriosis/adenomyosis. She spearheads the exploration and advancement of various techniques in cervical cancer surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted radical surgeries. She also specializes in fertility-preserving treatments for cervical cancer and conducts vaginal lengthening surgeries to improve the sexual quality of life for young patients.

In the field of endometriosis, Dr. Xishi Liu is proficient in translating basic scientific research into advanced clinical diagnosis and treatments. She is known for innovative surgical approaches to deep infiltrating endometriosis, such as Shaving surgery and uterine-sparing procedures for adenomyosis, which aim to preserve organ integrity and minimize surgical complications. Dr. Xishi Liu's expertise is internationally recognized, with a ranking in the top 0.17% of endometriosis experts globally, according to the Expertscape website.

She has led five projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and two municipal research projects in Shanghai. In recent years, she has published more than 30 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. Her research on "Molecular Typing of Endometriosis and Prediction Model for Recurrence" has received the third prize of the China Medical Science and Technology Award and the second prize of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award. She has also mentored over 30 doctoral and master's students. She has been invited to demonstrate surgeries and deliver speeches at international endometriosis conferences in various countries.

Dr. Michelle Lu-Ferguson has nearly 30 years of clinical experience and specializes in common gynecological diseases, minimally invasive gynecological surgery, menopause management, premature ovarian failure, female endocrine disorders, female urology and pelvic floor diseases, sexual health and dysfunction, and adolescent health.

Dr. Michelle Lu-Ferguson holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Ohio State College of Medicine, a Master of Science degree from New York University. She has a robust educational foundation, having studied at the eight-year medical program at Peking Union Medical College and the Pre-medical Department of the Life Sciences (Biology) at Peking University. She completed her residency training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical College of Rutgers University, where she also served on the faculty. Her roles included clinical practice, overseeing residency training, educating medical students, and conducting clinical big data research. Dr. Lu-Ferguson has also held key positions in several private hospitals in Shanghai.
